La ofrenda para los santos
16 En cuanto a la ofrenda para los santos,(A) hagan lo que les ordené a las iglesias de Galacia. 2 Cada primer día de la semana, cada uno de ustedes ponga algo aparte, según lo que haya ganado, y guárdelo, para que no se tengan que recoger las ofrendas cuando yo esté allá. 3 Y cuando llegue, enviaré a aquellos que ustedes hayan designado por carta, para que lleven la ofrenda de ustedes a Jerusalén. 4 Si acaso es conveniente que yo también vaya, ellos irán conmigo.
Planes de Pablo
5 Tengo que pasar por Macedonia. Así que luego de pasar por allí(B) iré a visitarlos 6 y tal vez me quede algún tiempo con ustedes, o pase allí el invierno, para que me ayuden a seguir mi camino, cualquiera que éste sea. 7 Porque esta vez no quiero verlos solamente de paso, sino que espero quedarme con ustedes por algún tiempo, si el Señor así lo permite. 8 Pero me quedaré en Éfeso hasta Pentecostés;(C) 9 porque, aunque hay muchos que están en contra de mí,(D) se me ha presentado una gran oportunidad para el trabajo.
10 Si llega Timoteo,(E) asegúrense de que se sienta cómodo entre ustedes, porque él hace la obra del Señor lo mismo que yo. 11 Por tanto, que nadie lo menosprecie; al contrario, ayúdenlo a seguir su camino en paz, para que se reúna conmigo, pues estoy esperándolo junto con los hermanos.
12 En cuanto al hermano Apolos, le insistí mucho que fuera a visitarlos junto con otros hermanos, pero esta vez no hubo manera de convencerlo; sin embargo, lo hará cuando tenga oportunidad.
Salutaciones finales
13 Manténganse atentos y firmes en la fe; sean fuertes y valientes. 14 Háganlo todo con amor.
15 Hermanos, ustedes ya saben que la familia de Estéfanas(F) fue el primer fruto de Acaya, y que ellos se han dedicado a servir a los santos. 16 Les ruego que se sometan a personas como ellos, y a todos los que ayudan y trabajan. 17 Me alegré mucho de que hayan venido Estéfanas, Fortunato y Acaico, pues ellos han suplido la ausencia de ustedes, 18 ya que han fortalecido mi espíritu y el de ustedes. Lleven en cuenta a personas como ellos.
19 Reciban los saludos de las iglesias de Asia. También de Aquila y Priscila,(G) y de la iglesia que está en su casa, los cuales les envían muchos saludos en el Señor. 20 Reciban saludos de todos los hermanos; y ustedes, salúdense unos a los otros con un beso santo.
21 Yo, Pablo, les escribo este saludo de mi puño y letra. 22 Si alguno no ama al Señor, quede bajo maldición. ¡El Señor viene![a] 23 Que la gracia del Señor Jesucristo sea con ustedes, 24 lo mismo que mi amor por ustedes en Cristo Jesús. Amén.

Insamlingen till de heliga
16 När det gäller insamlingen[a] till de heliga, skall ni också göra som jag har föreskrivit församlingarna i Galatien. 2 På första veckodagen skall var och en av er hemma lägga undan och samla ihop vad han lyckas spara, så att insamlingarna inte sker först vid min ankomst. 3 När jag kommer skall jag skicka de män som ni finner lämpliga, försedda med brev till Jerusalem för att överlämna er gåva. 4 Men om det finns skäl för mig att resa, kommer de att resa tillsammans med mig.
Apostelns resplaner
5 Jag tänker komma till er sedan jag har farit genom Makedonien, för jag tar vägen över Makedonien. 6 Men hos er stannar jag om möjligt en tid, kanske hela vintern, så att ni får utrusta mig för fortsatt resa, vart den nu går. 7 Jag vill inte nu besöka er på genomresa, för jag hoppas kunna stanna kvar hos er en tid, om Herren tillåter. 8 I Efesus stannar jag till pingst, 9 eftersom en dörr står öppen för mig till ett stort och omfattande arbete. Jag har också många motståndare.
Timoteus och Apollos besök
10 När Timoteus kommer, se då till att han kan vistas hos er utan att behöva oroas. Han arbetar för Herren liksom jag, 11 och ingen får därför se ner på honom. Sänd honom i väg i frid, så att han kan komma till mig. Jag väntar på honom tillsammans med bröderna. 12 Vad vår broder Apollos beträffar, så har jag ivrigt uppmanat honom att resa till er tillsammans med bröderna. Men han ville inte alls komma nu utan reser när han finner ett lämpligt tillfälle.
Förmaningar och hälsningar
13 Vaka, stå fasta i tron. Var manliga och starka. 14 Låt allt hos er ske i kärlek. 15 Jag ber er, bröder: Ni känner Stefanas familj och vet att de är Akajas förstlingsfrukt och att de har ställt sig själva till de heligas tjänst. 16 Rätta er därför efter sådana och alla dem som tar del i det arbetet. 17 Jag är glad över att Stefanas, Fortunatus och Akaikus har kommit. De har fyllt tomrummet efter er 18 och upplivat min ande liksom er. Sätt värde på sådana.
19 Församlingarna i Asien hälsar till er. Akvila och Priska tillsammans med församlingen i deras hus hälsar hjärtligt till er i Herren. 20 Alla bröderna hälsar till er. Hälsa varandra med en helig kyss. 21 Denna hälsning skriver jag, Paulus, med egen hand. 22 Om någon inte har Herren kär, skall han vara under förbannelse. The Collection for the Lord’s People
16 Now about the collection(A) for the Lord’s people:(B) Do what I told the Galatian(C) churches to do. 2 On the first day of every week,(D) each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.(E) 3 Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve(F) and send them with your gift to Jerusalem. 4 If it seems advisable for me to go also, they will accompany me.
Personal Requests
5 After I go through Macedonia, I will come to you(G)—for I will be going through Macedonia.(H) 6 Perhaps I will stay with you for a while, or even spend the winter, so that you can help me on my journey,(I) wherever I go. 7 For I do not want to see you now and make only a passing visit; I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits.(J) 8 But I will stay on at Ephesus(K) until Pentecost,(L) 9 because a great door for effective work has opened to me,(M) and there are many who oppose me.
10 When Timothy(N) comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is carrying on the work of the Lord,(O) just as I am. 11 No one, then, should treat him with contempt.(P) Send him on his way(Q) in peace(R) so that he may return to me. I am expecting him along with the brothers.
12 Now about our brother Apollos:(S) I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was quite unwilling to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity.
13 Be on your guard; stand firm(T) in the faith; be courageous; be strong.(U) 14 Do everything in love.(V)
15 You know that the household of Stephanas(W) were the first converts(X) in Achaia,(Y) and they have devoted themselves to the service(Z) of the Lord’s people.(AA) I urge you, brothers and sisters, 16 to submit(AB) to such people and to everyone who joins in the work and labors at it. 17 I was glad when Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus arrived, because they have supplied what was lacking from you.(AC) 18 For they refreshed(AD) my spirit and yours also. Such men deserve recognition.(AE)
Final Greetings
19 The churches in the province of Asia(AF) send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla[a](AG) greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house.(AH) 20 All the brothers and sisters here send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.(AI)

16 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
3 And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
4 And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.
5 Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.
6 And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.
7 For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
10 Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
11 Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
12 As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
14 Let all your things be done with charity.
15 I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)
16 That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.
17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.
18 For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.
19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
20 All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.
21 The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.
22 If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.
23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
