1 Corintios 1
Biblia del Jubileo
1 ¶ Pablo, llamado a ser apóstol de Jesús, el Cristo por la voluntad de Dios; y el hermano Sóstenes,
2 a la Iglesia de Dios que está en Corinto, santificados en Cristo Jesús, llamados santos, y a todos los que invocan el Nombre del Señor nuestro, Jesús el Cristo, en cualquier lugar, Señor de ellos y nuestro;
3 Gracia y paz tengáis de Dios nuestro Padre, y del Señor Jesús el Cristo.
4 Gracias doy a mi Dios siempre por vosotros, por la gracia de Dios que os es dada en Cristo Jesús;
5 que en todas las cosas sois enriquecidos en él, en toda palabra y en toda ciencia;
6 con lo cual el testimonio del Cristo ha sido confirmado en vosotros,
7 de tal manera que nada os falte en ningún don, esperando la manifestación del Señor nuestro, Jesús el Cristo;
8 el cual también os confirmará que permanezcáis sin pecado hasta el fin, hasta en el día de nuestro Señor, Jesucristo.
9 Fiel es Dios, por el cual sois llamados a la confraternidad de su Hijo, Jesús el Cristo, Señor nuestro.
10 ¶ Todavía, hermanos, os ruego por el Nombre del Señor nuestro, Jesús el Cristo, que habléis todos una misma cosa, y que no haya entre vosotros divisiones, antes seáis perfectos, unidos en un mismo entendimiento y en un mismo parecer.
11 Porque me ha sido declarado de vosotros, hermanos míos, por los que son de Cloé, que hay entre vosotros contiendas;
12 quiero decir, que cada uno de vosotros dice: Yo soy de Pablo; pues yo de Apolos; y yo de Cefas; y yo de Cristo.
13 ¿Está dividido el Cristo? ¿Fue colgado en el madero Pablo por vosotros? ¿O habéis sido bautizados en el nombre de Pablo?
14 ¶ Doy gracias a Dios, que a ninguno de vosotros he bautizado, sino a Crispo y a Gayo;
15 para que ninguno diga que habéis sido bautizados en mi nombre.
16 Y también bauticé la casa de Estéfanas; mas no sé si he bautizado algún otro.
17 ¶ Porque no me envió Cristo a bautizar, sino a predicar el Evangelio; no en sabiduría de palabras, para que no sea hecho vano el madero del Cristo.
18 Porque la Palabra del madero a la verdad es locura a los que se pierden; mas a los que se salvan, es a decir, a nosotros, es potencia de Dios.
19 Porque está escrito: Destruiré la sabiduría de los sabios, y reprobaré la inteligencia de los entendidos.
20 ¿Qué es del sabio? ¿Qué del escriba? ¿Qué del filósofo de este siglo? ¿No ha enloquecido Dios la sabiduría de este mundo?
21 Porque en la sabiduría de Dios, por no haber el mundo conocido a Dios por sabiduría, agradó a Dios salvar a los creyentes por la locura de la predicación.
22 Porque los judíos piden señales, y los griegos buscan sabiduría;
23 pero nosotros predicamos a Cristo colgado en el madero, que es a los judíos ciertamente tropezadero, y a los gentiles locura;
24 pero a los llamados, así judíos como griegos, Cristo es potencia de Dios, y sabiduría de Dios.
25 Porque lo loco de Dios es más sabio que los hombres; y lo flaco de Dios es más fuerte que los hombres.
26 Porque mirad, hermanos, vuestra vocación: que no sois muchos sabios según la carne, no muchos poderosos, no muchos nobles;
27 antes lo que es la locura del mundo escogió Dios, para avergonzar a los sabios; y lo que es la flaqueza del mundo escogió Dios, para avergonzar lo fuerte;
28 y lo vil del mundo y lo menospreciado escogió Dios; y lo que no es, para deshacer lo que es,
29 para que ninguna carne se jacte en su presencia.
30 De él sin embargo vosotros sois renacidos en Cristo Jesús, el cual nos es hecho de Dios sabiduría, y justicia, y santificación, y redención;
31 para que, como está escrito: El que se gloríe, gloríese en el Señor.

Hälsning
1 Från Paulus, som genom Guds vilja är kallad att vara apostel[a] åt Kristus[b] Jesus, och från vår bror Sosthenes.
2 Till Guds församling i Korinth, till dem som helgats i Kristus Jesus och kallats att vara heliga, tillsammans med alla dem överallt som åkallar vår Herre Jesus Kristus namn, hans, som är både deras och vår Herre.
3 Nåd och frid från Gud, vår Fader, och Herren Jesus Kristus.
Paulus tackar Gud för församlingens tro
4 Jag tackar alltid min Gud för att han har gett er sin nåd i Kristus Jesus. 5 Tack vare honom har ni utrustats med all rikedom i både tal och kunskap, 6 eftersom vittnesbördet om Kristus har fått ett så stadigt fäste hos er. 7 Därför saknas det inget i era olika nådegåvor medan ni väntar på att vår Herre Jesus Kristus ska visa sig igen. 8 Han ska också hjälpa er att hålla fast vid er tro ända till slutet, så att ni är utan skuld på vår Herre Jesus Kristus dag. 9 Gud är trofast, han som har kallat er till gemenskap med sin Son Jesus Kristus, vår Herre.
Splittring i församlingen
10 Men nu uppmanar jag er, syskon, att för vår Herre Jesus Kristus skull, se till att ni är eniga och inte delar upp er i olika grupperingar. Var eniga i ert sätt att tänka och resonera. 11 Jag har nämligen hört ifrån dem som bor i Chloes hus att ni har börjat bråka, mina syskon. 12 Jag menar att var och en av er säger: ”Jag följer Paulus”, eller ”Jag följer Apollos[c]”, eller ”Jag följer Kefas[d]”, eller ”Jag följer Kristus”. 13 Inte kan väl Kristus delas upp? Det var väl inte Paulus som korsfästes för er skull? Och ni döptes väl inte i Paulus namn? 14 Jag är tacksam för att jag inte har döpt några andra än Crispus och Gaius bland er. 15 Därför kan ingen säga att ni har döpts i mitt namn. 16 Jo, jag har faktiskt döpt Stefanas och hans familj också. Men några andra vet jag inte att jag har döpt. 17 Kristus sände mig ju inte för att döpa, utan för att förkunna evangelium, men inte med någon vältalig vishet, som skulle ta bort kraften i budskapet om Kristus kors.
Guds vishet är dårskap för den som inte tror
18 Budskapet om korset är dårskap för dem som går förlorade. Men för oss som räddas är det Guds kraft. 19 Det står skrivet:
”Jag ska förgöra de visas vishet
och de förståndigas förstånd ska jag sätta åt sidan.” [e]
20 Så var finns nu de visa? Och de skriftlärda och denna tidsålderns tänkare? Har inte Gud gjort denna världens vishet till dårskap? 21 I sin vishet lärde inte världen känna Gud i hans vishet, och därför bestämde Gud att genom dårskapen i vår förkunnelse rädda dem som tror. 22 Judarna kräver tecken och grekerna söker vishet. 23 Men vi förkunnar den korsfäste Kristus, som för judarna är en stötesten och för hedningarna en dårskap. 24 Men för de kallade, vare sig de är judar eller greker, är Kristus Guds kraft och Guds vishet. 25 Guds dårskap är visare än människorna och hans svaghet starkare än människorna.
26 Syskon, tänk på hur det var när ni själva blev kallade. Det var inte många av er som mänskligt sett räknades som visa, inte många som hade inflytande eller kom från en fin familj. 27 Nej, Gud valde ut det som är dåraktigt i världens ögon, för att de visa skulle få skämmas, och Gud valde ut det som är svagt i världens ögon, för att de starka skulle få skämmas. 28 Det som har låg status och som världen ser ner på, det som inte är något, det utvalde Gud, för att göra om intet det som anses vara något, 29 för att ingen ska kunna skryta inför Gud.
30 Det är tack vare honom som ni är i Kristus Jesus, som har blivit vår vishet från Gud, vår rättfärdighet, vår helighet, vår befrielse, 31 som det står skrivet: ”Den som vill skryta, ska skryta över Herren.”[f]

1 Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,
2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:
3 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;
6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.
16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.
17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Spiritual Gifts at Corinth

Sectarianism Is Sin

Christ the Power and Wisdom of God(AA)
18 For the [g]message of the cross is (AB)foolishness to (AC)those who are perishing, but to us (AD)who are being saved it is the (AE)power of God. 19 For it is written:

Glory Only in the Lord
