Who at any time serves (A)as a soldier at his own expense? Who (B)plants a vineyard and does not [a]consume the fruit of it? Or who shepherds a flock and does not [b]consume the milk of the flock?

Am I speaking these things (C)according to [c]human judgment? Or does not the Law also say these things? For it is written in the Law of Moses, “(D)You shall not muzzle the ox while it is threshing.” Is God merely concerned about (E)oxen?

Doesn’t the Law say the same thing? For it is written in the Law of Moses: “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.”[a](C) Is it about oxen that God is concerned?(D)
