9 Am I not free?^(A) Am I not an apostle?^(B) Have I not seen Jesus our Lord?^(C) Are you not the result of my work in the Lord?^(D)

⁵ and that he appeared to Cephas,^[a](A) and then to the Twelve.^{(B) 6} After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.^{(C) 7} Then he appeared to James,^(D) then to all the apostles,^{(E) 8} and last of all he appeared to me also,^(F) as to one abnormally born.

⁹ For I am the least of the apostles^(G) and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted^(H) the church of God.^(I)
