⁹ Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God?^(A) Do not be deceived:^(B) Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers^(C) nor men who have sex with men^[a](D)

¹⁹ The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality,^(A) impurity and debauchery; ²⁰ idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions ²¹ and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like.^(B) I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.^(C)

⁹ We also know that the law is made not for the righteous^(A) but for lawbreakers and rebels,^(B) the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, ¹⁰ for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine^(C)

¹³ “‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable.^(A) They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

⁴ Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk^(A) or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.^{(B) 5} For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater^(C)—has any inheritance^(D) in the kingdom of Christ and of God.^[a](E)

¹⁵ Outside^(A) are the dogs,^(B) those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

¹⁰ nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers^(A) will inherit the kingdom of God.

²² “‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman;^(A) that is detestable.^(B)

¹⁹ Do you not know that your bodies are temples^(A) of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;^(B)
