¹⁹ Or ^(A)do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, ^(B)and you are not your own? ²⁰ For ^(C)you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body ^[a]and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Christ in Our Place

⁶ For when we were still without strength, ^[a]in due time ^(A)Christ died for the ungodly. ⁷ For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. ⁸ But ^(B)God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ⁹ Much more then, having now been justified ^(C)by His blood, we shall be saved ^(D)from wrath through Him.
