⁴For ^(A)when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” ^(B)are you not being merely human?

⁵What then is Apollos? What is Paul? ^(C)Servants through whom you believed, ^(D)as the Lord assigned to each. ⁶^(E)I planted, ^(F)Apollos watered, ^(G)but God gave the growth. ⁷So ^(H)neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

when I was pricked in heart,

²³Nevertheless, I am continually with you;
    you ^(C)hold my right hand.
²⁴You ^(D)guide me with your counsel,
    and afterward you will ^(E)receive me to glory.
²⁵^(F)Whom have I in heaven but you?
    And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.
²⁶^(G)My flesh and my heart may fail,
    but God is ^(H)the strength^[a] of my heart and my ^(I)portion ^(J)forever.

²⁷For behold, those who are ^(K)far from you shall perish;
