¹¹ For no one can lay a ^(A)foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. ¹² Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, ^13 (B)each one’s work will become evident; for ^(C)the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test ^[a]the quality of each one’s work. ¹⁴ If anyone’s work which he has built on it remains, he will ^(D)receive a reward. ¹⁵ If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet only ^(E)so as through fire.

⁹ Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be ^(A)pleasing to Him. ¹⁰ For we must all appear before ^(B)the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive compensation for ^[a]his deeds done through the body, in accordance with what he has done, whether good or bad.

^11 (A)I am coming quickly; ^(B)hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your ^(C)crown. ^12 (D)The one who overcomes, I will make him a ^(E)pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the ^(F)name of My God, and ^(G)the name of the city of My God, ^(H)the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My ^(I)new name.
