¹⁰ As a skilled and experienced builder, I used the gift^[a] that God gave me to lay the foundation for that building. However, someone else is building on it. Each person must be careful how he builds on it.

¹¹ After all, no one can lay any other foundation than the one that is already laid, and that foundation is Yeshua Christ.

²⁰ You are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Christ Yeshua himself is the cornerstone.

²¹ In him all the parts of the building fit together and grow into a holy temple in the Lord.

⁴ You are coming to Christ, the living stone who was rejected by humans but was chosen as precious by God. ⁵ You come to him as living stones, a spiritual house that is being built into a holy priesthood. So offer spiritual sacrifices that God accepts through Yeshua Christ. ⁶ That is why Scripture says,
