16 Now concerning the collection for the saints: As I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
2 Upon the first day of the week, let every one of you lay aside in store as God hath prospered him, so that there need be no gatherings when I come.
3 And when I come, whomever ye shall approve by your letters I will send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
4 And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.
5 Now I will come unto you when I shall pass through Macedonia (for I am passing through Macedonia).
6 And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you,that ye may send me on my journey whithersoever I go.
7 For I will not see you now on my way, but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
9 For a great door, and effectual, has opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
10 Now if Timothy come, see that he may be with you without fear, for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
11 Let no man therefore despise him, but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me; for I look for him with the brethren.
12 Now concerning our brother Apollos: I greatly desired that he should come unto you with the brethren, but it was not at all his will to come at this time; but he will come when it shall be convenient.
13 Watch ye; stand fast in the faith; acquit yourselves like men; be strong.
14 Let all your things be done with charity.
15 I beseech you, brethren (ye know the household of Stephanas and that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the ministry of the saints),
16 that ye submit yourselves unto such and to everyone that helpeth with us and laboreth.
17 I am glad about the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.
18 For they have refreshed my spirit and yours; therefore acknowledge ye those who are such.
19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
20 All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with a holy kiss.
21 The salutation of me, Paul, with mine own hand.
22 If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema. Maranatha!
23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

16 Còn về việc quyên tiền cho các thánh đồ, anh chị em cũng hãy làm như tôi đã truyền cho các hội thánh tại Ga-la-ti. 2 Vào ngày đầu tuần lễ, mỗi người để dành riêng ra một số tiền tại nhà tùy khả năng, chứ không phải đợi tôi đến rồi mới quyên góp. 3 Khi tôi đến, tôi sẽ gửi thư và quà cho người mà anh chị em tín nhiệm đem đi Giê-ru-sa-lem. 4 Và nếu tôi cần phải đi thì họ sẽ cùng đi với tôi.
5 Tôi sẽ ghé thăm anh chị em khi đi ngang qua tỉnh Ma-xê-đoan vì tôi sẽ đi ngang qua Ma-xê-đoan. 6 Có lẽ tôi sẽ lưu lại với anh chị em hoặc ở lại suốt mùa đông để anh chị em đưa tôi đi đến nơi tôi muốn đi. 7 Lần này tôi không muốn chỉ ghé thăm qua anh chị em vì tôi hy vọng ở lại với anh chị em ít lâu nếu Chúa cho phép. 8 Tôi sẽ ở lại thành Ê-phê-sô cho đến lễ Ngũ Tuần. 9 Vì một cánh cửa lớn và đầy hứa hẹn đang rộng mở cho tôi mặc dầu cũng có nhiều chống đối.
10 Nếu Ti-mô-thê đến thăm anh chị em, xin anh chị em đừng để người phải e sợ điều gì giữa anh chị em vì người cũng làm công việc Chúa như chính tôi vậy. 11 Vì thế đừng ai coi thường người. Hãy đưa người lên đường bình an để người về với tôi, vì tôi đang mong đợi người cùng những anh chị em khác.
12 Còn về A-bô-lô, anh em chúng ta, tôi hết sức thúc giục người đi thăm anh chị em cùng với những anh chị em khác nhưng người nhất định chưa muốn đi ngay bây giờ, tuy nhiên khi có dịp người sẽ đi.
13 Hãy tỉnh thức, hãy vững vàng trong đức tin, hãy can đảm và mạnh mẽ. 14 Mọi điều anh chị em làm, hãy làm trong tình yêu thương.
15 Anh chị em biết, nhà Sê-pha-na là gia đình tín hữu đầu tiên ở xứ A-chai và họ đã tận tâm phục vụ các thánh đồ. 16 Vậy, hãy phục tòng những người như thế cũng như những người đồng lao cộng tác với chúng ta. 17 Tôi vui mừng vì các ông Sê-pha-na, Phốt-tu-na và A-chai-cơ đã đến, họ đền bù lại sự vắng mặt của anh chị em. 18 Vì họ đã làm cho tinh thần của tôi cũng như của anh chị em được tươi mới. Hãy quý trọng những người như thế.
19 Các Hội Thánh tại tỉnh Tiểu Á gửi lời chào anh chị em. Ông A-qui-la, bà Bê-rít-sin cùng Hội Thánh họp trong nhà hai người ấy cũng gửi lời thân ái chào anh chị em trong Chúa. 20 Tất cả anh chị em tại đây chào anh chị em. Hãy chào thăm nhau trong tình thân ái.[a]
21 Tôi, Phao-lô, chính tay tôi viết lời này. 22 Ai không yêu mến Chúa, người ấy đáng bị nguyền rủa. Lạy Chúa, xin hãy đến. 23 Nguyện xin ân sủng của Chúa Giê-su ở cùng anh chị em. 24 Tôi yêu quý tất cả anh chị em trong Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-su. A-men.

The Collection for the Lord’s People
16 Now about the collection(A) for the Lord’s people:(B) Do what I told the Galatian(C) churches to do. 2 On the first day of every week,(D) each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.(E) 3 Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve(F) and send them with your gift to Jerusalem. 4 If it seems advisable for me to go also, they will accompany me.
Personal Requests
5 After I go through Macedonia, I will come to you(G)—for I will be going through Macedonia.(H) 6 Perhaps I will stay with you for a while, or even spend the winter, so that you can help me on my journey,(I) wherever I go. 7 For I do not want to see you now and make only a passing visit; I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits.(J) 8 But I will stay on at Ephesus(K) until Pentecost,(L) 9 because a great door for effective work has opened to me,(M) and there are many who oppose me.
10 When Timothy(N) comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is carrying on the work of the Lord,(O) just as I am. 11 No one, then, should treat him with contempt.(P) Send him on his way(Q) in peace(R) so that he may return to me. I am expecting him along with the brothers.
12 Now about our brother Apollos:(S) I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was quite unwilling to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity.
13 Be on your guard; stand firm(T) in the faith; be courageous; be strong.(U) 14 Do everything in love.(V)
15 You know that the household of Stephanas(W) were the first converts(X) in Achaia,(Y) and they have devoted themselves to the service(Z) of the Lord’s people.(AA) I urge you, brothers and sisters, 16 to submit(AB) to such people and to everyone who joins in the work and labors at it. 17 I was glad when Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus arrived, because they have supplied what was lacking from you.(AC) 18 For they refreshed(AD) my spirit and yours also. Such men deserve recognition.(AE)
Final Greetings
19 The churches in the province of Asia(AF) send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla[a](AG) greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house.(AH) 20 All the brothers and sisters here send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.(AI)
