^58 (A)Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be firm, immovable, always excelling in ^(B)the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

^9 (A)Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we ^(B)do not become weary. ¹⁰ So then, ^[a](C)while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the ^(D)household of ^(E)the faith.

⁹ Furthermore, we had ^[a]earthly fathers to discipline us, and we ^(A)respected them; shall we not much more be subject to ^(B)the Father of ^[b]spirits, and ^(C)live? ¹⁰ For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, ^(D)so that we may share His holiness. ^11 (E)For the moment, all discipline seems not to be pleasant, but painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterward it yields the ^(F)peaceful fruit of righteousness.
