54 When this perishable body puts on imperishability and this mortal body puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will be fulfilled:

“Death has been swallowed up in victory.”(A)
55 “Where, O death, is your victory?

Let the same mind be in you that was[a] in Christ Jesus,(A)

who, though he existed in the form of God,
did not regard equality with God
    as something to be grasped,(B)
but emptied himself,
taking the form of a slave,
    assuming human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a human,(C)

11 and every tongue should confess
    that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.(G)

17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he placed his right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last(G) 18 and the Living One. I was dead, and see, I am alive forever and ever, and I have the keys of Death and of Hades.(H)
