²¹ For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. ²² For as in Adam all die, so also in ^[a]Christ shall all be made alive.

⁴⁵ So also it is written, ^[a]The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. ⁴⁶ Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is ^[b]natural; then that which is spiritual. ⁴⁷ The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.
