1 Corinthians 11:3-7
New International Version
3 But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ,(A) and the head of the woman is man,[a](B) and the head of Christ is God.(C) 4 Every man who prays or prophesies(D) with his head covered dishonors his head. 5 But every woman who prays or prophesies(E) with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is the same as having her head shaved.(F) 6 For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.
7 A man ought not to cover his head,[b] since he is the image(G) and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.

3 But I want you to understand that Christ is the (A)head of every man, and [a](B)the man is the head of a woman, and God is the (C)head of Christ. 4 Every man who has something on his head while praying or (D)prophesying disgraces his head. 5 But every (E)woman who has her head uncovered while praying or prophesying disgraces her head, for it is one and the same as the woman [b]whose head is (F)shaved. 6 For if a woman does not cover [c]her head, have her also [d]cut her hair off; however, if it is disgraceful for a woman to [e]have her hair cut off or [f]her head shaved, have her cover [g]her head. 7 For a man should not have his head covered, since he is the (G)image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man.

King James Version
3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

Wycliffe Bible
3 But I will that ye know, that Christ is [the] head of each man; but the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4 Each man praying, or prophesying, when his head is covered, defouleth his head.
5 But each woman praying, or prophesying, when her head is not covered, defouleth her head; for it is one, as if she were polled [as if she be made bald, polled, or clipped].
6 And if a woman be not covered [For if a woman be not veiled, or covered], be she polled; and if it is foul thing to a woman to be polled, or to be made bald, cover she her head.
7 But a man shall not cover his head, for he is the image and glory of God; but a woman is the glory of man.
