1 Corinthians 10:8-10

⁸ Let us not commit sexual immorality^(A) as some of them did,^[a] and in a single day twenty-three thousand people died.^{(B) 9} Let us not test Christ as some of them did^[b] and were destroyed by snakes.^{(C) 10} And don’t grumble^(D) as some of them did,^[c](E) and were killed by the destroyer.^[d](F)
