9 God is faithful; by him you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Divisions in the Church
10 Now I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,[a] by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in agreement and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same purpose. 11 For it has been reported to me by Chloe’s people that there are quarrels among you, my brothers and sisters.[b] 12 What I mean is that each of you says, “I belong to Paul,” or “I belong to Apollos,” or “I belong to Cephas,” or “I belong to Christ.” 13 Has Christ been divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? 14 I thank God[c] that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15 so that no one can say that you were baptized in my name. 16 (I did baptize also the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I do not know whether I baptized anyone else.)

10 (A)Ora, fratelli, vi esorto, nel nome del Signore nostro Gesù Cristo, ad avere tutti un medesimo parlare e a non avere divisioni tra di voi, ma a stare perfettamente uniti nel medesimo modo di pensare e di sentire. 11 Infatti, fratelli miei, mi è stato riferito da quelli di casa di Cloe che tra di voi ci sono contese. 12 Voglio dire che ciascuno di voi dichiara: «Io sono di Paolo»; «io, di Apollo»; «io, di Cefa»; «io, di Cristo». 13 Cristo è forse diviso? Paolo è stato forse crocifisso per voi? O siete voi stati battezzati nel nome di Paolo? 14 Ringrazio {Dio} che non ho battezzato nessuno di voi, salvo Crispo e Gaio; 15 perciò nessuno può dire che foste battezzati nel mio nome[a]. 16 Ho battezzato anche la famiglia di Stefana; del resto non so se ho battezzato qualcun altro.

10 Ich ermahne euch aber, ihr Brüder, kraft des Namens unseres Herrn Jesus Christus, dass ihr alle einmütig seid in eurem Reden[b] und keine Spaltungen unter euch zulasst, sondern vollkommen zusammengefügt seid[c] in derselben Gesinnung und in derselben Überzeugung.
11 Mir ist nämlich, meine Brüder, durch die Leute der Chloe bekannt geworden, dass Streitigkeiten unter euch sind.
12 Ich rede aber davon, dass jeder von euch sagt: Ich gehöre zu Paulus! — Ich aber zu Apollos! — Ich aber zu Kephas! — Ich aber zu Christus!
13 Ist Christus denn zerteilt? Ist etwa Paulus für euch gekreuzigt worden, oder seid ihr auf den Namen des Paulus getauft?
14 Ich danke Gott, dass ich niemand von euch getauft habe, außer Krispus und Gajus;
15 so kann doch niemand sagen, ich hätte auf meinen Namen getauft!
16 Ich habe aber auch das Haus des Stephanas getauft. Sonst weiß ich nicht, ob ich noch jemand getauft habe;

10 Testvéreim, kérlek benneteket, Urunk, Jézus Krisztus nevében, hogy éljetek egymással összhangban és teljes egyetértésben! Ne legyen köztetek széthúzás, se pártoskodás, hanem állítsátok helyre a harmóniát magatok között mind a gondolkodásban, mind a törekvésben!
11 Ugyanis Khloé családjából néhányan meglátogattak, és tőlük hallottam, hogy nézeteltérések vannak közöttetek. 12 Arra gondolok, hogy közületek egyesek azt mondják: „én Pált követem”, mások: „én Apollós csoportjába tartozom”, megint mások: „én Kéfáshoz[a] tartozom”, vagy ezt: „én pedig közvetlenül Krisztushoz”.

Ne laissez pas de division s’introduire entre vous ! Soyez parfaitement unis en ayant une même conviction, une même façon de penser ! 11 En effet, mes frères et sœurs, j’ai été informé par les gens de la maison de Chloé[a] que la discorde règne parmi vous. 12 Voici ce que je veux dire : chacun de vous tient ce type de langage : « Pour moi, c’est Paul ! » ou : « Pour moi, c’est Apollos[b] ! » ou : « Pour moi, c’est Pierre ! » ou encore : « Pour moi, c’est Christ ! »
13 Voyons : Christ serait-il divisé ? Paul aurait-il été crucifié pour vous ? Ou bien est-ce au nom de Paul que vous avez été baptisés ? 14 Je remercie Dieu de n’avoir baptisé aucun de vous, sauf Crispus et Gaïus[c]. 15 Personne, en tout cas, ne peut prétendre avoir été baptisé en mon nom. 16 – Ah si !
