1 Corinthians 1:21-27

21 For since in the wisdom of God (A)the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, (B)God [a]was pleased through the (C)foolishness of the [b]message preached to (D)save those who believe. 22 For indeed (E)Jews ask for [c]signs and Greeks search for wisdom; 23 but we preach [d](F)Christ crucified, (G)to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentiles (H)foolishness, 24 but to those who are (I)the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ (J)the power of God and (K)the wisdom of God. 25 For the (L)foolishness of God is wiser than mankind, and (M)the weakness of God is stronger than mankind.
26 For [e]consider your (N)calling, brothers and sisters, that there were (O)not many wise according to [f]the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; 27 but (P)God has chosen the foolish things of (Q)the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of (R)the world to shame the things which are strong,Read full chapter
