1 Corinthians 1:14-17
New International Version
14 I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus(A) and Gaius,(B) 15 so no one can say that you were baptized in my name. 16 (Yes, I also baptized the household(C) of Stephanas;(D) beyond that, I don’t remember if I baptized anyone else.) 17 For Christ did not send me to baptize,(E) but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom(F) and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
New International Version
The Resurrection of Christ
15 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel(A) I preached to you,(B) which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved,(C) if you hold firmly(D) to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3 For what I received(E) I passed on to you(F) as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins(G) according to the Scriptures,(H) 4 that he was buried,(I) that he was raised(J) on the third day(K) according to the Scriptures,(L)
