¹⁶ For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for ^(A)necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!

¹⁷ And say to ^(A)Archippus, “Take heed to ^(B)the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.”

¹⁴ I am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to wise and to unwise.

^20 (A)For we cannot but speak the things which ^(B)we have seen and heard.”

¹⁶ But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, ^(A)to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. ¹⁷ I will ^[a]deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, ^(B)to whom I ^[b]now send you, ^18 (C)to open their eyes, in order ^(D)to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, ^(E)that they may receive forgiveness of sins and ^(F)an inheritance among those who are ^(G)sanctified^[c] by faith in Me.’

Paul’s Post-Conversion Life

¹⁹ “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, ²⁰ but ^(H)declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do ^(I)works befitting repentance.

⁶ So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”

Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

⁶² But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is ^(A)fit for the kingdom of God.”

¹⁷ Therefore I have reason to glory in Christ Jesus ^(A)in the things which pertain to God.

² For if Abraham was ^(A)justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God.
