⁸ The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and each will receive wages according to their own labor.^(A)

⁶ He will repay according to each one’s deeds:^(A)

⁸ Be on your guard, so that you do not lose what we^[a] have worked for but may receive a full reward.^(A)

³⁶ The reaper is already receiving^[a] wages and is gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together.^{(A) 37} For here the saying holds true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’^{(B) 38} I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.”

²⁷ “For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay everyone for what has been done.^(A)

¹² “See, I am coming soon; my reward is with me, to repay according to everyone’s work.^(A)

⁵⁸ Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord because you know that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.^(A)

⁷ Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow.^{(A) 8} If you sow to your own flesh, you will reap corruption from the flesh, but if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life from the Spirit.^(B)

⁴ And when the chief shepherd appears, you will win the crown of glory that never fades away.^(A)
