²³ and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.^(A)

²⁹ And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring,^[a] heirs according to the promise.^(A)

²³ But each in its own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.

³ But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man^[a] is the head of the woman,^[b] and God is the head of Christ.^(A)

¹⁸ As you have sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.^(A)

⁹ I am asking on their behalf; I am not asking on behalf of the world but on behalf of those whom you gave me, because they are yours.^{(A) 10} All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I have been glorified in them.^(B)

⁷ Look^[a] at what is before your eyes. If you are confident that you belong to Christ, remind yourself of this, that just as you belong to Christ, so also do we.^(A)

⁸ If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.

²¹ that they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us,^[a] so that the world may believe that you have sent me.^(A)
