²⁶ The last enemy to be destroyed is death.^(A)

¹⁰ but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ,^[a] who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.^(A)

¹⁴ Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire,^(A)

¹⁴ Since, therefore, the children share flesh and blood, he himself likewise shared the same things, so that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,^(A)

³⁶ Indeed, they cannot die anymore, because they are like angels and are children of God, being children of the resurrection.^(A)
