²⁶ The last enemy to be ^(A)destroyed is death.

¹⁰ and which now has ^(A)been manifested through ^(B)the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, ^(C)who abolished death and ^(D)brought life and ^(E)immortality to light through the gospel,

^4 (A)He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and ^(B)death shall be no more, ^(C)neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

¹⁴ Then ^(A)Death and Hades ^(B)were thrown into the lake of fire. This is ^(C)the second death, the lake of fire.

¹⁴ Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise ^(A)partook of the same things, that ^(B)through death he might ^(C)destroy ^(D)the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,

³⁶ for ^(A)they cannot die anymore, because they are ^(B)equal to angels and ^(C)are ^(D)sons of God, being ^(E)sons^[a] of the resurrection.
