15 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel ^(B)which I preached to you, which also you received and ^(C)in which you stand,

Only One Gospel

⁶ I marvel that you are turning away so soon ^(A)from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, ^7 (B)which is not another; but there are some ^(C)who trouble you and want to ^(D)pervert^[a] the gospel of Christ. ⁸ But even if ^(E)we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be ^[b]accursed. ⁹ As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you ^(F)than what you have received, let him be accursed.

¹⁰ For ^(G)do I now ^(H)persuade men, or God? Or ^(I)do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

Call to Apostleship^(J)

^11 (K)But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. ¹² For ^(L)I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came ^(M)through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Farewell and Peace

¹² By ^(A)Silvanus, our faithful brother as I consider him, I have written to you briefly, exhorting and testifying ^(B)that this is the true grace of God in which you stand.

³ For ^(A)I delivered to you first of all that ^(B)which I also received: that Christ died for our sins ^(C)according to the Scriptures, ⁴ and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day ^(D)according to the Scriptures, ^5 (E)and that He was seen by ^[a]Cephas, then ^(F)by the twelve. ⁶ After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have ^[b]fallen asleep. ⁷ After that He was seen by James, then ^(G)by all the apostles. ^8 (H)Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.

⁹ For I am ^(I)the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because ^(J)I persecuted the church of God. ¹⁰ But ^(K)by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, ^(L)yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. ¹¹ Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

²⁴ Not ^(A)that we ^[a]have dominion over your faith, but are fellow workers for your joy; for ^(B)by faith you stand.

^2 (A)through whom also we have access by faith into this grace ^(B)in which we stand, and ^(C)rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

^16 (A)in the day when God will judge the secrets of men ^(B)by Jesus Christ, ^(C)according to my gospel.

^4 (A)And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.

^5 (B)When Silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul was ^(C)compelled ^[a]by the Spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.

Peter Defends God’s Grace

11 Now the apostles and brethren who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
