Tongues a Sign to Unbelievers

²⁰ Brethren, ^(A)do not be children in understanding; however, in malice ^(B)be babes, but in understanding be mature.

^2 (A)as newborn babes, desire the pure ^(B)milk of the word, that you may grow ^[a]thereby,

¹⁹ For ^(A)your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be ^(B)wise in what is good, and ^[a]simple concerning evil.

¹¹ When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

³ and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

¹⁴ that we should no longer be ^(A)children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of ^(B)deceitful plotting, ¹⁵ but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the ^(C)head—Christ—

Spiritual Wisdom

⁶ However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.

^18 (A)but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

^(B)To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment,

¹⁵ Therefore let us, as many as are ^(A)mature, ^(B)have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, ^(C)God will reveal even this to you.
