² And if I have prophetic powers and understand all mysteries and all knowledge and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.^(A)

⁸ Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.

³ If I give away all my possessions and if I hand over my body so that I may boast^[a] but do not have love, I gain nothing.^(A)

²⁰ He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a^[a] mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”^[b](A)

²⁰ Those who say, “I love God,” and hate a brother or sister are liars, for those who do not love a brother or sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.^{(A) 21} The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.

²¹ Jesus answered them, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.^(A)

²² Let anyone be accursed who has no love for the Lord. Our Lord, come!^[a](A)

⁸ To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,^{(A) 9} to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,^{(B) 10} to another the working of powerful deeds, to another prophecy, to another the discernment of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.^(C)
