² And if I have ^(A)prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, ^(B)so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

^8 (A)Anyone who does not love does not know God, because ^(B)God is love.

^3 (A)If I give away all I have, and ^(B)if I deliver up my body to be burned,^[a] but have not love, I gain nothing.

²⁰ He said to them, ^(A)“Because of your little faith. For ^(B)truly, I say to you, ^(C)if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, ^(D)you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and ^(E)nothing will be impossible for you.”^[a]

^20 (A)If anyone says, “I love God,” and ^(B)hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot^[a] love God ^(C)whom he has not seen. ²¹ And ^(D)this commandment we have from him: ^(E)whoever loves God must also love his brother.

²² If anyone has no love for the Lord, let him be ^(A)accursed. Our Lord, come!^[a]

⁸ For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of ^(A)wisdom, and to another the utterance of ^(B)knowledge according to the same Spirit, ⁹ to another ^(C)faith by the same Spirit, to another ^(D)gifts of healing by the one Spirit, ¹⁰ to another ^(E)the working of miracles, to another ^(F)prophecy, to another ^(G)the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another ^(H)various kinds of tongues, to another ^(I)the interpretation of tongues.

²¹ And Jesus answered them, ^(A)“Truly, I say to you, ^(B)if you have faith and ^(C)do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ^(D)‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.
