³¹ For ^(A)if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.

⁹ If we ^(A)confess our sins, He is ^(B)faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to ^(C)cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

²⁸ But ^(A)let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

⁵ Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, ^(A)or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

² Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before ^[a]God. ^3 (A)Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and ^(B)repent. ^(C)Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you ^(D)as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
