Conduct at the Lord’s Supper

¹⁷ Now in giving these instructions I do not praise you, since you come together not for the better but for the worse.

¹⁴ or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.

^25 (A)not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and ^(B)so much the more as you see ^(C)the Day approaching.

²³ Therefore if the whole church comes together in one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those who are uninformed or unbelievers, ^(A)will they not say that you are ^[a]out of your mind?

²² What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise ^(A)the church of God and ^(B)shame ^[a]those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you.

² Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you.

^9 (A)Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and ^(B)walk after other gods whom you do not know, ^10 (C)and then come and stand before Me in this house ^(D)which is called by My name, and say, ‘We are delivered to do all these abominations’?

Fasting that Pleases God

^17 (A)‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. ^(B)You shall surely ^[a]rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.
