³¹ So, whether you eat or drink, or ^(A)whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

¹⁷ And ^(A)whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, ^(B)giving thanks to God the Father through him.

^23 (A)Whatever you do, work heartily, ^(B)as for the Lord and not for men,

¹¹ whoever speaks, as one who speaks ^(A)oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves ^(B)by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything ^(C)God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. ^(D)To him belong glory and ^(E)dominion forever and ever. Amen.

¹⁸ but ^(A)you shall eat them before the Lord your God in ^(B)the place that the Lord your God will choose, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, and the Levite who is within your towns. And ^(C)you shall rejoice before the Lord your God in all that you undertake.

⁷ And ^(A)there you shall eat before the Lord your God, and ^(B)you shall rejoice, you and your households, in all that you undertake, in which the Lord your God has blessed you.

⁵ “Say to all the people of the land and the priests, ‘When you fasted and mourned in ^(A)the fifth month and in ^(B)the seventh, for these ^(C)seventy years, ^(D)was it ^(E)for me that you fasted? ^6 (F)And when you eat and when you drink, do you not eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves?

¹² And ^(A)you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your sons and your daughters, your male servants and your female servants, and the Levite that is within your towns, since ^(B)he has no portion or inheritance with you.

⁴¹ But ^(A)give as alms those things that are within, and behold, ^(B)everything is clean for you.
