^25 (A)Eat whatever is sold in the meat market, asking no questions for conscience’ sake;

⁷ However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, ^(A)with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is ^(B)defiled.

⁴ For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving;

^15 (A)To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.

²⁷ If any of those who do not believe invites you to dinner, and you desire to go, ^(A)eat whatever is set before you, asking no question for conscience’ sake. ²⁸ But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” do not eat it ^(B)for the sake of the one who told you, and for conscience’ sake; ^[a]for ^(C)“the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.” ²⁹ “Conscience,” I say, not your own, but that of the other. For ^(D)why is my liberty judged by another man’s conscience?

The Law of Love

¹⁴ I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus ^(A)that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

⁵ Therefore ^(A)you must be subject, not only because of wrath ^(B)but also for conscience’ sake.

¹⁵ And a voice spoke to him again the second time, ^(A)“What God has ^[a]cleansed you must not call common.”
