¹¹ Now ^[a]all these things happened to them as examples, and ^(A)they were written for our ^[b]admonition, ^(B)upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

⁴ For ^(A)whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the ^[a]patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

Put on Christ

¹¹ And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time ^(A)to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

Deceptions of the Last Hour

^18 (A)Little children, ^(B)it is the last hour; and as you have heard that ^(C)the^[a] Antichrist is coming, ^(D)even now many antichrists have come, by which we know ^(E)that it is the last hour.

⁵ Let your ^[a]gentleness be known to all men. ^(A)The Lord is at hand.

¹⁰ Or does He say it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written, that ^(A)he who plows should plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should be partaker of his hope.

²³ Now ^(A)it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him,

^25 (A)not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and ^(B)so much the more as you see ^(C)the Day approaching.
