²¹ For since, in the ^(A)wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

Jesus Rejoices in the Spirit^(A)

^21 (B)In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.

Jesus Gives True Rest^(A)

^25 (B)At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that ^(C)You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent ^(D)and have revealed them to babes.

^10 (A)to the intent that now ^(B)the ^[a]manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church ^(C)to the ^[b]principalities and powers in the heavenly places,

²⁴ but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ ^(A)the power of God and ^(B)the wisdom of God.

²⁰ For since the creation of the world ^(A)His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and ^[a]Godhead, so that they are without excuse, ²¹ because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but ^(B)became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. ^22 (C)Professing to be wise, they became fools,

²⁰ Daniel answered and said:

²⁸ And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things ^(A)which are not fitting;

³³ Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
