9 All Israel(A) was listed in the genealogies recorded in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. They were taken captive to Babylon(B) because of their unfaithfulness.(C)

2 Now the first to resettle on their own property in their own towns(E) were some Israelites, priests, Levites and temple servants.(F)

9 So wurden die Namen aller Bewohner Israels festgehalten und in die Chronik der Könige von Israel geschrieben.
Weil die Bewohner von Juda sich vom Herrn abwandten und andere Götter verehrten, wurden sie nach Babylonien verbannt. 2 Die Ersten, die zurückkehrten und wieder ihren Grund und Boden in den Städten erhielten, waren Leute aus dem Volk sowie Priester, Leviten und Tempeldiener.
