The Tribe of Benjamin
8 Benjamin became the father of Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third, 2 Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
3 Bela had sons: Addar, Gera, Abihud, 4 Abishua, Na’aman, Ahoah, 5 Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 These are the sons of Ehud. They are the heads of fathers’ households for the inhabitants of Geba who were exiled to Manahath, 7 namely, Na’aman, Ahijah, and Gera, who led them into exile,[a] and he became the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
8 Shaharaim became a father in the territory of Moab, after he had sent away his wives Hushim and Ba’ara. 9 By his wife Hodesh he became the father of Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malkam, 10 Jeuz, Shakia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of the houses of their fathers. 11 By Hushim, he became the father of Abitub and Elpa’al. 12 The sons of Elpa’al were Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod, with its towns.
13 Also Beriah and Shema, who were heads of houses of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon. They put to flight the inhabitants of Gath.
14 Also Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth, 15 Zebadiah, Arad, Eder, 16 Michael, Ishpah, Joha, who were the sons of Beriah.
17 Also Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber, 18 Ishmerai, Izliah, Jobab, the sons of Elpa’al.
19 Also Jakim, Zikri, Zabdi, 20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel, 21 Adaiah, Beraiah, Shimrath, the sons of Shimei.
22 Also Ishpan, Eber, Eliel, 23 Abdon, Zikri, Hanan, 24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah, 25 Iphdeiah, Penuel, the sons of Shashak.
26 Also Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah, 27 Ja’areshiah, Elijah, Zikri, and the sons of Jeroham. 28 These were heads of fathers’ households throughout their generations, head men. These lived in Jerusalem.
29 Jeiel,[b] the father of Gibeon, whose wife’s name was Ma’akah, lived in Gibeon 30 with his firstborn son Abdon. Other sons were Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner,[c] Nadab, 31 Gedor, Ahio, and Zeker. 32 Mikloth became the father of Shimeah. They also lived near their brothers in Jerusalem, with their brothers.
33 Ner became the father of Kish.
Kish became the father of Saul.
Saul became the father of Jonathan, Malkishua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal.[d]
34 The son of Jonathan was Meribbaal.[e]
Meribbaal became the father of Micah.
35 The sons of Micah were Pithon, Melek, Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 Ahaz became the father of Jehoaddah.
Jehoaddah became the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri.
Zimri became the father of Moza.
37 Moza became the father of Binea. Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.
38 Azel had six sons, whose names are Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39 The sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush his second, and Eliphelet his third.
40 The sons of Ulam were powerful warriors, who were archers. They had many sons and grandsons, one hundred fifty. All these were of the descendants of Benjamin.

Descendants of Benjamin
8 Benjamin fathered Bela his firstborn, Ashbel second, Ahrah third, 2 Nohah the fourth, and Rapha fifth.
3 Bela’s sons were:
Addar, Gera, Abihud, 4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah, 5 Gera, Shephuphan and Huram.
6 These were the sons of Ehud—the heads of clans of the inhabitants of Geba, who were taken captive to Manahath:
7 Naaman, Ahijah and Gera—he took them captive and fathered Uzza and Ahihud.
8 Shaharaim fathered children in the country of Moab after divorcing his wives Hushim and Baara. 9 By his wife Hodesh he fathered Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam, 10 Jeuz, Sachiah and Mirmah. These were his sons, family leaders.
11 By Hushim he fathered Abitub and Elpaal.
12 The sons of Elpaal:
Eber, Misham and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod with its villages; 13 Beriah and Shema, leaders of the clans living in Aijalon and who drove out the inhabitants of Gath.
14 Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth, 15 Zebadiah, Arad, Eder, 16 Michael, Ishpah, Joha were sons of Beriah.
17 Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber 18 Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab were sons of Elpaal.
19 Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi, 20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel, 21 Adaiah, Beraiah and Shimrath were sons of Shimei.
22 Ishpan, Eber, Eliel, 23 Abdon, Zichri, Hanan, 24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothiah, 25 Iphdeiah and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.
26 Shamsherai, Shechariah, Athaliah 27 Jaareshiah, Elijah and Zichri were sons of Jeroham. 28 These were leaders of the clans listed in their genealogies. These lived in Jerusalem.
29 Now the father of Gibeon dwelt in Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maacah, 30 and his firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab, 31 Gedor, Ahio and Zecher 32 and Mikloth who fathered Shimeah. They lived with their relatives in Jerusalem, opposite their relatives.
33 Ner fathered Kish and Kish fathered Saul. Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab and Eshbaal.
34 Jonathan’s son was Merib-baal and Merib-baal fathered Micah.
35 Micah’s sons:
Pithon, Melech, Taarea and Ahaz.
36 Ahaz fathered Jehoaddah, Jehoaddah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri, and Zimri fathered Moza, 37 Moza fathered Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
38 Azel had six sons and these were their names:
Azrikam, Bocru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan—all these were sons of Azel.
39 The sons of his brother Eshek:
Ulam his firstborn, Jeush second, and Eliphelet third. 40 Now the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and had many sons and grandsons—150. All these were descendants of Benjamin.

31 Ghedor, Ahio, Zecher
32 şi Miklot, căruia i s-a născut Şimea.

33 Lui Ner i s-a născut Chiş,
lui Chiş – Saul,
iar lui Saul – Ionatan, Malchi-Şua, Abinadab şi Eşbaal[e].
34 Fiul lui Ionatan a fost Merib-Baal[f];
lui Merib-Baal i s-a născut Mica.
35 Fiii lui Mica au fost: Piton, Melek, Tarea şi Ahaz.
36 Lui Ahaz i s-a născut Iehoada;
lui Iehoada i s-au născut Alemet, Azmavet şi Zimri,
iar lui Zimri i s-a născut Moţa.
37 Lui Moţa i s-a născut Bina,
al cărui fiu a fost Rafa.
Fiul acestuia a fost Elasa,
iar fiul acestuia a fost Aţel.
38 Aţel a avut şase fii; numele lor au fost: Azrikam, întâiul lui născut[g], Ismael, Şearia, Obadia şi Hanan. Toţi aceştia au fost fiii lui Aţel.
39 Fiii lui Eşek, fratele lui Aţel, au fost: Ulam, întâiul lui născut, Ieuş, al doilea, şi Elifelet, al treilea. 40 Fiii lui Ulam au fost războinici viteji, arcaşi. Ei au avut mulţi fii şi nepoţi – în total o sută cincizeci.
Toţi aceştia au fost urmaşi ai lui Beniamin.
