The Family of Naphtali(A)

13 The (B)sons of Naphtali were [a]Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and [b]Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

The Family of Manasseh (West)

14 The (C)descendants of Manasseh: his Syrian concubine bore him (D)Machir the father of Gilead, the father of Asriel. 15 Machir took as his wife the sister of [c]Huppim and [d]Shuppim, whose name was Maachah. The name of Gilead’s [e]grandson was (E)Zelophehad, but Zelophehad begot only daughters.

13 The sons of Naphtali:(A)

Jahziel, Guni, Jezer and Shillem[a]—the descendants of Bilhah.

Manasseh

14 The descendants of Manasseh:(B)

Asriel was his descendant through his Aramean concubine. She gave birth to Makir the father of Gilead.(C) 15 Makir took a wife from among the Huppites and Shuppites. His sister’s name was Maakah.

Another descendant was named Zelophehad,(D) who had only daughters.
