Davidova djeca
3 Ovo su sinovi koji su se Davidu rodili u Hebronu:
prvorođeni je bio Amnon, a rodila ga je Ahinoama iz grada Jezreela;
drugi je bio Daniel, a rodila ga je Abigajla iz Karmela;
2 treći je bio Abšalom, a rodila ga je Maaka—kći Talmaja, kralja Gešura;
četvrtog, Adoniju, rodila je Hagita;
3 petog, Šefatiju, rodila je Abitala;
šestog, Jitreama, rodila je Egla.
4 Njih su se šestorica Davidu rodila u Hebronu, gdje je vladao sedam godina i šest mjeseci.
David je potom u Jeruzalemu vladao još trideset i tri godine, 5 a ondje su mu se rodili sinovi Šimea, Šobab, Natan i Salomon. Njih mu je četvoricu rodila Bat Šeba, Amielova kći. 6 Osim njih, rodila su mu se još devetorica sinova: Jibhar, Elišua[a], Elifelet, 7 Nogah, Nefeg, Jafija, 8 Elišama, Elijada i Elifelet.
9 Sve su to bili Davidovi sinovi, osim sinova koje su mu rodile njegove žene ropkinje. Njihova sestra zvala se Tamara.
Salomonovi potomci
10 Salomonov sin zvao se Roboam, Roboamov Abija, Abijin Asa, Asin Jošafat, 11 Jošafatov Joram, Joramov Ahazija, Ahazijin Joaš, 12 Joašev Amasija, Amasijin Azarija, Azarijin Jotam, 13 Jotamov Ahaz, Ahazov Ezekija, Ezekijin Manaše, 14 Manašeov Amon, Amonov Jošija.
15 Jošijin prvorođeni sin zvao se Johanan, drugi Jojakim, treći Sidkija, a četvrti Šalum.
16 Jojakim je imao sina Jekoniju, a Jekonija Sidkiju.
Jekonijini potomci
17 Ovo su Jekonijini sinovi nakon zatočeništva u Babilonu: Šealtiel, 18 Malkiram, Pedaja, Šenasar, Jekamija, Jošama i Nedabija.
19 Pedajini sinovi bili su Zerubabel i Šimej, Zerubabelovi Mešulam i Hananija, a sestra im se zvala Šelomita. 20 Zerubabel je imao još petoricu sinova, a to su Hašuba, Ohel, Berekija, Hasadija i Jušab Hesed.
21 Hananijini su potomci bili: Pelatija, Jišaja, Refaja, Arnan, Obadija i Šekanija.
22 Šekanija je imao sina Šemaju, a njegovih su šestorica sinova bili: istoimeni Šemaja te Hatuš, Jigal, Barijah, Nearija i Šafat.
23 Nearija je imao trojicu sinova, a to su bili Elioenaj, Ezekija i Azrikam.
24 Elioenaj je imao sedmoricu sinova, a to su bili Hodavija, Elijašib, Pelaja, Akub, Johanan, Delaja i Anani.

3 (A)These are the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn, Amnon, by Ahinoam the Jezreelite; the second, (B)Daniel, by Abigail the Carmelite, 2 the third, Absalom, whose mother was Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith; 3 the fifth, Shephatiah, by Abital; the sixth, Ithream, by his wife Eglah; 4 six were born to him in Hebron, (C)where he reigned for seven years and six months. (D)And he reigned thirty-three years in Jerusalem. 5 (E)These were born to him in Jerusalem: (F)Shimea, Shobab, Nathan and (G)Solomon, four by (H)Bath-shua, the daughter of (I)Ammiel; 6 then Ibhar, (J)Elishama, Eliphelet, 7 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, 8 Elishama, (K)Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine. 9 All these were David's sons, besides the sons of the concubines, (L)and Tamar was their sister.
10 The son of Solomon was (M)Rehoboam, (N)Abijah his son, (O)Asa his son, (P)Jehoshaphat his son, 11 (Q)Joram his son, (R)Ahaziah his son, (S)Joash his son, 12 (T)Amaziah his son, (U)Azariah his son, (V)Jotham his son, 13 (W)Ahaz his son, (X)Hezekiah his son, (Y)Manasseh his son, 14 (Z)Amon his son, (AA)Josiah his son. 15 The sons of Josiah: (AB)Johanan the firstborn, the second (AC)Jehoiakim, the third (AD)Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum. 16 The descendants of (AE)Jehoiakim: (AF)Jeconiah his son, (AG)Zedekiah his son; 17 and the sons of Jeconiah, the (AH)captive: (AI)Shealtiel his son, 18 Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama and Nedabiah; 19 and the sons of Pedaiah: (AJ)Zerubbabel and Shimei; and the sons of (AK)Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah, and Shelomith was their sister; 20 and Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed, five. 21 The sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, his son[a] Rephaiah, his son Arnan, his son Obadiah, his son Shecaniah. 22 The son[b] of Shecaniah: (AL)Shemaiah. And the sons of Shemaiah: (AM)Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat, six. 23 The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam, three. 24 The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani, seven.
