King David's Children
3 1-3 The following, in order of age, are David's sons who were born while he was in Hebron:
Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam from Jezreel
Daniel, whose mother was Abigail from Carmel
Absalom, whose mother was Maacah, daughter of King Talmai of Geshur
Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith
Shephatiah, whose mother was Abital
Ithream, whose mother was Eglah
4 (A)All six were born in Hebron during the seven and a half years that David ruled there.
In Jerusalem he ruled as king for thirty-three years, 5 (B)and many sons were born to him there.
His wife Bathsheba, daughter of Ammiel, bore him four sons: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon.
6 He had nine other sons: Ibhar, Elishua, Elpelet, 7 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, 8 Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet. 9 In addition to all these sons, David had sons by his concubines. He also had a daughter, Tamar.
The Descendants of King Solomon
10 This is the line of King Solomon's descendants from father to son: Solomon, Rehoboam, Abijah, Asa, Jehoshaphat, 11 Jehoram, Ahaziah, Joash, 12 Amaziah, Uzziah, Jotham, 13 Ahaz, Hezekiah, Manasseh, 14 Amon, and Josiah. 15 Josiah had four sons: Johanan, Jehoiakim, Zedekiah, and Joahaz. 16 Jehoiakim had two sons: Jehoiachin and Zedekiah.
The Descendants of King Jehoiachin
17 These are the descendants of King Jehoiachin, who was taken prisoner by the Babylonians. Jehoiachin had seven sons: Shealtiel, 18 Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah. 19 Pedaiah had two sons, Zerubbabel and Shimei. Zerubbabel was the father of two sons, Meshullam and Hananiah, and one daughter, Shelomith. 20 He had five other sons: Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab Hesed.
21 Hananiah had two sons, Pelatiah and Jeshaiah. Jeshaiah was the father of Rephaiah, who was the father of Arnan, the father of Obadiah, the father of Shecaniah.[a] 22 Shecaniah had one son, Shemaiah, and five grandsons: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat. 23 Neariah had three sons: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam. 24 Elioenai had seven sons: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani.

3 (A)Estos fueron los hijos de David que le nacieron en Hebrón: el primogénito, Amnón, de Ahinoam jezreelita; el segundo, Daniel, de Abigail carmelita; 2 el tercero, Absalón, hijo de Maaca, hija de Talmai, rey de Gesur; el cuarto, Adonías, hijo de Haguit; 3 el quinto, Sefatías, de Abital; el sexto, Itream, de Egla su mujer. 4 Seis hijos le nacieron en Hebrón. Allí reinó siete años y seis meses, y en Jerusalén reinó treinta y tres años(B). 5 (C)Y estos le nacieron en Jerusalén: Simea, Sobab, Natán y Salomón(D): los cuatro de Bet-súa, hija de Amiel(E). 6 También Ibhar, Elisama, Elifelet, 7 Noga, Nefeg y Jafía. 8 Elisama, Eliada y Elifelet: nueve. 9 Todos estos fueron los hijos de David, además de los hijos de las concubinas; y Tamar(F) fue hermana de ellos.

10 Y el hijo de Salomón fue Roboam; Abías fue su hijo, Asa su hijo, Josafat su hijo, 11 Joram su hijo, Ocozías su hijo, Joás su hijo, 12 Amasías su hijo, Azarías su hijo, Jotam su hijo, 13 Acaz su hijo, Ezequías su hijo, Manasés su hijo, 14 Amón su hijo, Josías su hijo. 15 Los hijos de Josías fueron Johanán el primogénito, y el segundo fue Joacim, el tercero Sedequías, el cuarto Salum[a]. 16 Los hijos de Joacim fueron Jeconías su hijo, Sedequías su hijo. 17 Los hijos de Jeconías, el cautivo, fueron Salatiel su hijo, 18 y Malquiram, Pedaías, Senazar, Jecamías, Hosama y Nedabías. 19 Los hijos de Pedaías fueron Zorobabel y Simei. Y los hijos[b] de Zorobabel fueron Mesulam y Hananías, y Selomit fue su hermana; 20 y Hasuba, Ohel, Berequías, Hasadías y Jusab-hesed: cinco. 21 Los hijos[c] de Hananías fueron Pelatías y Jesaías, los hijos de Refaías, los hijos de Arnán, los hijos de Abdías, los hijos de Secanías. 22 Los descendientes[d] de Secanías fueron Semaías, y los hijos de Semaías: Hatús, Igal, Barías, Nearías y Safat: seis. 23 Los hijos[e] de Nearías fueron Elioenai, Ezequías y Azricam: tres. 24 Los hijos de Elioenai fueron Hodavías, Eliasib, Pelaías, Acub, Johanán, Dalaías y Anani: siete.
