² the third, ^(A)Absalom the son of Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth, ^(B)Adonijah the son of Haggith; ³ the fifth, Shephatiah, by Abital; the sixth, Ithream, by his wife ^(C)Eglah.

⁴ These six were born to him in Hebron. ^(D)There he reigned seven years and six months, and ^(E)in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years.
