²The third Absalom the son of Maacha the daughter of Tolmai king of Gessur, the fourth Adonias the son of Aggith,

³The fifth Saphatias of Abital, the sixth Jethrahem of Egla, his wife.

⁴So six sons were born to him in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. And in Jerusalem he reigned three and thirty years.

²the third, Absalom the son of Maakah daughter of Talmai king of Geshur;

the fourth, Adonijah^(A) the son of Haggith;

³the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital;

and the sixth, Ithream, by his wife Eglah.

⁴These six were born to David in Hebron,^(B) where he reigned seven years and six months.^(C)

David reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three years,
