18 and for the incense altar, refined gold by weight; and gold for the design of the chariot and the k’ruvim with their wings spread out to cover the ark for the covenant of Adonai. 19 “All this is in writing, as Adonai, with his hand on me, has given me good sense in working out these detailed plans.”

20 Then David said to Shlomo his son, “Be strong, be bold, and do it! Don’t be afraid or become discouraged! For Adonai, God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or abandon you until all the work for the service in the house of Adonai has been finished.

18 and the weight of the refined gold for the altar of incense.(A) He also gave him the plan for the chariot,(B) that is, the cherubim of gold that spread their wings and overshadow(C) the ark of the covenant of the Lord.

19 “All this,” David said, “I have in writing as a result of the Lord’s hand on me, and he enabled me to understand all the details(D) of the plan.(E)

20 David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous,(F) and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake(G) you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished.(H)
