5 The third commander, for the third month, was (A)Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the chief priest; in his division were 24,000. 6 This is the Benaiah (B)who was a mighty man of the thirty and in command of the thirty; Ammizabad his son was in charge of his division.[a] 7 (C)Asahel the brother of Joab was fourth, for the fourth month, and his son Zebadiah after him; in his division were 24,000.

5 The third army commander, for the third month, was Benaiah(A) son of Jehoiada the priest. He was chief and there were 24,000 men in his division. 6 This was the Benaiah who was a mighty warrior among the Thirty and was over the Thirty. His son Ammizabad was in charge of his division.
7 The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel(B) the brother of Joab; his son Zebadiah was his successor. There were 24,000 men in his division.
