Qaybihii Wadaaddada
24 Oo kooxihii reer Haaruunna waa kuwan. Wiilashii Haaruun waxay ahaayeen Naadaab, iyo Abiihuu, iyo Elecaasaar, iyo Iitaamaar. 2 Laakiinse Naadaab iyo Abiihuuba aabbahood way ka hor dhinteen, oo carruurna ma ay lahayn, haddaba sidaas daraaddeed hawshii wadaadnimada waxaa samayn jiray Elecaasaar iyo Iitaamaar. 3 Oo Daa'uud oo ay la jiraan Saadooq oo ahaa reer Elecaasaar iyo Axiimeleg oo ahaa reer Iitaamaar ayaa iyagii u kala qaybiyey sidii hawshoodu kala ahayd. 4 Oo reer Elecaasaar waxaa laga dhex helay niman madax ah oo ka badan intii reer Iitaamaar laga helay, oo iyagii sidanaa loo kala qaybiyey, reer Elecaasaar waxaa ku jiray lix iyo toban nin, oo qolooyin madax u ah, oo reer Iitaamaarna waxaa ku jiray siddeed, sidii qolooyinkoodu kala ahaayeen. 5 Oo sidanaa iyagii saami loogu kala qaybiyey, oo caynba caynkii kale waa lagu daray, waayo, waxaa jiray amiirro meesha quduuska ah, iyo amiirro Ilaah oo ahaa reer Elecaasaar iyo reer Iitaamaar labadaba. 6 Oo Shemacyaah ina Netaneel oo karraanigii ahaa, oo ahaa reer Laawi ayaa iyagii ku hor qoray boqorkii, iyo amiirradii, iyo wadaadkii Saadooq, iyo Axiimeleg ina Aabyaataar, iyo madaxdii qolooyinkii wadaaddada iyo reer Laawi ahaa, in reer loo qaado reer Elecaasaar, reerna loo qaado reer Iitaamaar. 7 Haddaba saamigii kowaad wuxuu u soo baxay Yehooyaariib, kii labaadna Yedacyaah, 8 kii saddexaadna Haarim, kii afraadna Secoriim, 9 kii shanaadna Malkiiyaah, kii lixaadna Miyaamin, 10 kii toddobaadna Haqoos, kii siddeedaadna Abiiyaah, 11 kii sagaalaadna Yeeshuuca, kii tobnaadna Shekaanyaah, 12 kii kow iyo tobnaadna Eliyaashiib, kii laba iyo tobnaadna Yaaqiim, 13 kii saddex iyo tobnaadna Xufaah, kii afar iyo tobnaadna Yeshebe'aab, 14 kii shan iyo tobnaadna Bilgaah, kii lix iyo tobnaadna Immeer, 15 kii toddoba iyo tobnaadna Xeesiir, kii siddeed iyo tobnaadna Hafisees, 16 kii sagaal iyo tobnaadna Fetaxyaah, kii labaatanaadna Yexesqeel, 17 kii kow iyo labaatanaadna Yaakiin, kii laba iyo labaatanaadna Gaamuul, 18 kii saddex iyo labaatanaadna Dalaayaah, kii afar iyo labaatanaadna Macasyaah. 19 Kaasu wuxuu ahaa qaynuunkii ay u kala qaybsanaayeen oo ay hawshooda ku qaban jireen, inay gurigii Rabbiga ku soo galaan qaynuunkii iyaga lagu soo dhiibay awowgood Haaruun, sidii Rabbiga ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil uu isaga ku amray.
Intii Ka Hadhay Reer Laawi
20 Oo reer Laawi intii hadhayna waxaa ka mid ahaa kuwan, wiilashii Camraam waxaa ka joogay Shuubaa'eel, wiilashii Shuubaa'eelna waxaa ka joogay Yexdeyaah. 21 Reer Rexabyaahna waxaa wiilashii Rexabyaah ka joogay Yishyaah oo madax ahaa. 22 Reer Isehaarna waxaa ka joogay Shelomoo, wiilashii Shelomoodna waxaa ka joogay Yaaxad. 23 Wiilashii Xebroonna waxaa ka joogay Yeriyaah oo madax ahaa, iyo Amaryaah oo ahaa kii labaad, iyo Yaxasii'eel oo ahaa kii saddexaad, iyo Yeqamcaam oo ahaa kii afraad. 24 Wiilashii Cusii'eelna waxaa ka joogay Miikaah, wiilashii Miikaahna waxaa ka joogay Shaamiir. 25 Oo Miikaah walaalkiisna wuxuu ahaa Yishyaah, wiilashii Yishyaahna waxaa ka joogay Sekaryaah. 26 Wiilashii Meraariina waxaa ka joogay Maxlii iyo Mushii, wiilashii Yacasiyaahna waxaa ka joogay Benoo. 27 Wiilashii Meraariina, waxaa reer Yacasiyaah ka joogay Benoo, iyo Shoham, iyo Sakuur, iyo Cibrii. 28 Reer Maxliina waxaa ka joogay Elecaasaar, oo aan waxba wiilal lahayn. 29 Reer Qiishna waxaa ka joogay ina Qiish, oo ahaa Yeraxme'eel. 30 Reer Mushii waxaa ka joogay Maxlii, iyo Ceeder, iyo Yeriimood. Kuwaasu waxay ahaayeen reer Laawi siday qolooyinkoodu kala ahaayeen. 31 Oo kuwanu iyana waxay riteen saami sidii walaalahood reer Haaruun ay yeeleen oo kale, oo waxay ku hor riteen Boqor Daa'uud, iyo Saadooq, iyo Axiimeleg, iyo kuwii madaxda u ahaa qolooyinkii wadaaddada iyo reer Laawi. Kan qolooyinkii madaxda u ahaa waxaa lagala mid dhigay sida kuwa walaalkiisa yar.

The Divisions of Priests
24 These were the divisions(A) of the descendants of Aaron:(B)
The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.(C) 2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did,(D) and they had no sons; so Eleazar and Ithamar served as the priests. 3 With the help of Zadok(E) a descendant of Eleazar and Ahimelek a descendant of Ithamar, David separated them into divisions for their appointed order of ministering. 4 A larger number of leaders were found among Eleazar’s descendants than among Ithamar’s, and they were divided accordingly: sixteen heads of families from Eleazar’s descendants and eight heads of families from Ithamar’s descendants. 5 They divided them impartially by casting lots,(F) for there were officials of the sanctuary and officials of God among the descendants of both Eleazar and Ithamar.
6 The scribe Shemaiah son of Nethanel, a Levite, recorded their names in the presence of the king and of the officials: Zadok the priest, Ahimelek(G) son of Abiathar and the heads of families of the priests and of the Levites—one family being taken from Eleazar and then one from Ithamar.
7 The first lot fell to Jehoiarib,
the second to Jedaiah,(H)
8 the third to Harim,(I)
the fourth to Seorim,
9 the fifth to Malkijah,
the sixth to Mijamin,
10 the seventh to Hakkoz,
the eighth to Abijah,(J)
11 the ninth to Jeshua,
the tenth to Shekaniah,
12 the eleventh to Eliashib,
the twelfth to Jakim,
13 the thirteenth to Huppah,
the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
14 the fifteenth to Bilgah,
the sixteenth to Immer,(K)
15 the seventeenth to Hezir,(L)
the eighteenth to Happizzez,
16 the nineteenth to Pethahiah,
the twentieth to Jehezkel,
17 the twenty-first to Jakin,
the twenty-second to Gamul,
18 the twenty-third to Delaiah
and the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
19 This was their appointed order of ministering when they entered the temple of the Lord, according to the regulations prescribed for them by their ancestor Aaron, as the Lord, the God of Israel, had commanded him.
The Rest of the Levites
20 As for the rest of the descendants of Levi:(M)
from the sons of Amram: Shubael;
from the sons of Shubael: Jehdeiah.
21 As for Rehabiah,(N) from his sons:
Ishiah was the first.
22 From the Izharites: Shelomoth;
from the sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.
23 The sons of Hebron:(O) Jeriah the first,[a] Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third and Jekameam the fourth.
24 The son of Uzziel: Micah;
from the sons of Micah: Shamir.
25 The brother of Micah: Ishiah;
from the sons of Ishiah: Zechariah.
26 The sons of Merari:(P) Mahli and Mushi.
The son of Jaaziah: Beno.
27 The sons of Merari:
from Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zakkur and Ibri.
28 From Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 From Kish: the son of Kish:
Jerahmeel.
30 And the sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder and Jerimoth.
These were the Levites, according to their families. 31 They also cast lots,(Q) just as their relatives the descendants of Aaron did, in the presence of King David and of Zadok, Ahimelek, and the heads of families of the priests and of the Levites. The families of the oldest brother were treated the same as those of the youngest.

Among the sons of Eleazar were sixteen heads of their fathers’ houses, and eight heads of their fathers’ houses among the sons of Ithamar. 5 Thus they were divided by lot, one group as another, for there were officials of the sanctuary and officials of the house of God, from the sons of Eleazar and from the sons of Ithamar. 6 And the scribe, Shemaiah the son of Nethanel, one of the Levites, wrote them down before the king, the leaders, Zadok the priest, Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the priests and Levites, one father’s house taken for Eleazar and one for Ithamar.

19 This was the schedule of their service (E)for coming into the house of the Lord according to their ordinance by the hand of Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.
Other Levites
20 And the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, [c]Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah. 21 Concerning (F)Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the first was Isshiah. 22 Of the Izharites, [d]Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath. 23 Of the sons [e]of (G)Hebron, Jeriah was the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth. 24 Of the sons of Uzziel, Michah; of the sons of Michah, Shamir. 25 The brother of Michah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah. 26 (H)The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi; the son of Jaaziah, Beno. 27 The sons of Merari by Jaaziah were Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri. 28 Of Mahli: Eleazar, (I)who had no sons. 29 Of Kish: the son of Kish, Jerahmeel.
30 Also (J)the sons of Mushi were Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites according to their fathers’ houses.
31 These also cast lots just as their brothers the sons of Aaron did, in the presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the priests and Levites. The chief fathers did just as their younger brethren.
