17 Then David ordered(A) all the leaders of Israel to help his son Solomon. 18 He said to them, “Is not the Lord your God with you? And has he not granted you rest(B) on every side?(C) For he has given the inhabitants of the land into my hands, and the land is subject to the Lord and to his people. 19 Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the Lord your God.(D) Begin to build the sanctuary of the Lord God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord and the sacred articles belonging to God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the Lord.”

10 This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years(A) are completed for Babylon, I will come to you(B) and fulfill my good promise(C) to bring you back(D) to this place. 11 For I know the plans(E) I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper(F) you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.(G) 12 Then you will call(H) on me and come and pray(I) to me, and I will listen(J) to you. 13 You will seek(K) me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.(L) 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back(M) from captivity.[a] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”(N)
