1 Chronicles 18:11-13

¹¹King David gave these things to the Lord. David had done the same thing with the silver and gold he had taken from these nations: Edom, Moab, the Ammonites, the Philistines and Amalek.

¹²Abishai son of Zeruiah killed 18,000 Edomite people in the Valley of Salt. ¹³Abishai also put camps of troops in Edom. And all the Edomites became David’s servants. The Lord gave David victory everywhere he went.

New International Version

¹¹King David dedicated these articles to the Lord, as he had done with the silver and gold he had taken from all these nations: Edom^(A) and Moab, the Ammonites and the Philistines, and Amalek.^(B)

¹²Abishai son of Zeruiah struck down eighteen thousand Edomites^(C) in the Valley of Salt. ¹³He put garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites became subject to David. The Lord gave David victory wherever he went.

¹¹Them also king David dedicated unto the Lord, with the silver and the gold that he brought from all these nations; from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.

¹²Moreover Abishai the son of Zeruiah slew of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand.

¹³And he put garrisons in Edom; and all the Edomites became David's servants. Thus the Lord preserved David whithersoever he went.
