⁸ And David and all Israel were rejoicing before God with all their might, with song and ^(A)lyres and harps and tambourines and cymbals and trumpets.

²⁴ Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, should ^(A)blow the trumpets before the ark of God. ^(B)Obed-edom and Jehiah were to be gatekeepers for the ark.

²⁸ So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting, to the sound of the horn, ^(A)trumpets, and cymbals, and made loud music on ^(B)harps and lyres.

⁶ and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow trumpets regularly before the ark of the covenant of God.

⁴² Heman and Jeduthun had trumpets and cymbals for the music and instruments ^(A)for sacred song. The sons of Jeduthun were appointed to the gate.

¹³ and it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord), and when the song was raised, ^(A)with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord,

the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud,

³⁵ and certain of the priests' sons ^(A)with trumpets: Zechariah the son of Jonathan, son of Shemaiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph;

⁴¹ and the priests Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, ^(A)with trumpets;
