6 And David said, (A)Whosoever smiteth the Jebusites first, shall be the chief and captain. So Joab the son of Zeruiah went first up, and was captain.
7 And David dwelt in the tower: therefore they called it the city of David.
8 (B)And he built the city on every side, from Millo even round about: and Joab repaired the rest of the city.
