Mga Lahi Mula kay Adan Hanggang sa mga Anak ni Noe(A)

1 Ang mga lahi ni Adan ay sina Set, Enosh, 2 Kenan, Mahalalel, Jared, 3 Enoc, Metusela, Lamec at Noe. 4 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Noe ay sina Shem, Ham at Jafet.

Ang Lahi ni Jafet

5 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Jafet ay sina Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshec at Tiras. 6 Si Gomer ay may mga anak din na lalaki na sina Ashkenaz, Rifat,[a] at Togarma. 7 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Javan ay sina Elisha, Tarshish, Kitim at Rodanim.[b]

Ang Lahi ni Ham

8 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Ham ay sina Cush, Mizraim,[c] Put, at Canaan. 9 Si Cush ay may mga anak ding lalaki na sina Sheba, Havila, Sabta, Raama at Sabteca. Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Raama ay sina Sheba at Dedan. 10 May isa pang anak si Cush na ang pangalan ay Nimrod na naging magiting na sundalo sa mundo.

11 Si Mizraim ang pinagmulan ng mga Ludeo, Anameo, Lehabeo, Naftu, 12 Patruseo, Caslu, at mga Caftoreo na siyang pinagmulan ng mga Filisteo.

13 Si Canaan ang ama nina Sidon at Het.[d] Si Sidon ang panganay. 14 Si Canaan ang siya ring pinagmulan ng mga Jebuseo, Amoreo, Girgaseo, 15 Hiveo, Arkeo, Sineo, 16 Arvadeo, Zemareo at Hamateo.

Ang Lahi ni Shem

17 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Shem: sina Elam, Ashur, Arfaxad, Lud at Aram. Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Aram ay sina,[e] Uz, Hul, Geter at Meshec.[f] 18 Si Arfaxad ang ama ni Shela, at si Shela ang ama ni Eber. 19 May dalawang anak na lalaki si Eber: ang isa ay pinangalanang Peleg, dahil noong panahon niya, ang mga tao sa mundo ay nagkahati-hati; ang pangalan naman ng kanyang kapatid ay Joktan. 20 Si Joktan ang ama nina Almodad, Shelef, Hazarmavet, Jera, 21 Hadoram, Uzal, Dikla, 22 Obal,[g] Abimael, Sheba, 23 Ofir, Havila at Jobab. Silang lahat ay anak na lalaki ni Joktan.

24 Ito ang lahi na mula kay Shem: sina Arfaxad, Shela, 25 Eber, Peleg, Reu 26 Serug, Nahor, Tera, 27 at si Abram na siya ring si Abraham.

Ang Lahi ni Abraham(B)

28 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Abraham ay sina Isaac at Ishmael. 29 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Ishmael ay sina Nebayot (ang panganay), Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 30 Mishma, Duma, Masa, Hadad, Tema, 31 Jetur, Nafis at Kedema. Sila ang mga anak na lalaki ni Ishmael. 32 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Ketura na isa pang asawa ni Abraham ay sina Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak at Shua. Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Jokshan ay sina Sheba at Dedan. 33 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Midian ay sina Efa, Efer, Hanoc, Abida at Eldaa. Silang lahat ang angkan ni Ketura.

Ang Lahi ni Esau(C)

34 Si Abraham ang ama ni Isaac. Ang mga anak ni Isaac ay sina Esau at Israel.[h] 35 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Esau ay sina Elifaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam at Kora. 36 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Elifaz ay sina Teman, Omar, Zefo,[i] Gatam, Kenaz at Amalek. Si Amalek ay anak niya kay Timna.[j] 37 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Reuel ay sina Nahat, Zera, Shama at Miza.

Ang mga Edomita(D)

38 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Seir ay sina Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Ana, Dishon, Ezer at Dishan. 39 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Lotan ay sina Hori at Homam.[k] Magkapatid sina Lotan at Timna na isa pang asawa ni Elipaz. 40 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Shobal ay sina Alvan,[l] Manahat, Ebal, Shefo[m] at Onam. Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Zibeon ay sina Aya at Ana. 41 Ang anak na lalaki ni Ana ay si Dishon. Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Dishon ay sina Hemdan,[n] Eshban, Itran at Keran. 42 Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Ezer ay sina Bilhan, Zaavan at Akan.[o] Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Dishan[p] ay sina Uz at Aran.

Ang mga Hari ng Edom(E)

43 Ito ang mga hari ng Edom, noong panahon na wala pang mga hari ang mga Israelita:

Si Bela na taga-Dinhaba na anak ni Beor ay naging hari sa Edom. 44 Pagkamatay niya, pinalitan siya ni Jobab na anak ni Zera na taga-Bozra. 45 Pagkamatay ni Jobab, pinalitan siya ni Husham na taga-Teman. 46 Pagkamatay ni Husham, pinalitan siya ni Hadad na taga-Avit na anak ni Bedad. Si Hadad ang nakatalo sa mga Midianita roon sa Moab. 47 Pagkamatay ni Hadad, pinalitan siya ni Samla na taga-Masreka. 48 Pagkamatay ni Samla, pinalitan siya ni Shaul na taga-Rehobot na malapit sa Ilog ng Eufrates. 49 Pagkamatay ni Shaul, pinalitan siya ni Baal Hanan na anak ni Acbor. 50 Pagkamatay ni Baal Hanan, pinalitan siya ni Hadad na taga-Pau. Ang asawa niya ay si Mehetabel na anak ni Matred at apo ni Me-Zahab. 51 Hindi nagtagal, namatay si Hadad.

Ito ang mga pinuno ng angkan ng Edom: Timna, Alva, Jetet, 52 Oholibama, Elah, Pinon, 53 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 54 Magdiel at Iram.

Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshek and Tiras.

6 The sons of Gomer:

Ashkenaz, Riphath[c] and Togarmah.

7 The sons of Javan:

Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittites and the Rodanites.

45 When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites(AD) succeeded him as king.

46 When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, succeeded him as king. His city was named Avith.

47 When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him as king.

48 When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the river[p] succeeded him as king.

49 When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Akbor succeeded him as king.

50 When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad succeeded him as king. His city was named Pau,[q] and his wife’s name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-Zahab. 51 Hadad also died.

The chiefs of Edom were:

Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, 52 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, 53 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 54 Magdiel and Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.

34 Abraham fathered (M)Isaac. The sons of Isaac: (N)Esau and (O)Israel. 35 (P)The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. 36 The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, Kenaz, and of Timna,[g] Amalek. 37 The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

38 (Q)The sons of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. 39 The sons of Lotan: Hori and Hemam;[h] and Lotan's sister was Timna. 40 The sons of Shobal: Alvan,[i] Manahath, Ebal, Shepho,[j] and Onam. The sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. 41 The son[k] of Anah: Dishon. The sons of Dishon: Hemdan,[l] Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran. 42 The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.[m] The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

43 (R)These are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the people of Israel: Bela the son of Beor, the name of his city being Dinhabah. 44 Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of (S)Bozrah reigned in his place. 45 Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the (T)Temanites reigned in his place. 46 Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, reigned in his place, the name of his city being Avith. 47 Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place. 48 Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth on the Euphrates[n] reigned in his place. 49 Shaul died, and Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor, reigned in his place. 50 Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his place, the name of his city being Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab. 51 And Hadad died.

The chiefs of Edom were: chiefs Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, 52 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, 53 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 54 Magdiel, and Iram; these are the chiefs of Edom.
