The Family of Naphtali^(A)

¹³ The ^(B)sons of Naphtali were ^[a]Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and ^[b]Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

^48 (A)The sons of Naphtali according to their families were: of ^[a]Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites; ⁴⁹ of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of ^(B)Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.

^24 (A)The sons of Naphtali were ^[a]Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer, and ^[b]Shillem. ^25 (B)These were the sons of Bilhah, ^(C)whom Laban gave to Rachel his daughter, and she bore these to Jacob: seven persons in all.

²² And it happened, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and ^(A)lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine; and Israel heard about it.

Jacob’s Twelve Sons

Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:

³ So she said, “Here is ^(A)my maid Bilhah; go in to her, ^(B)and she will bear a child on my knees, ^(C)that I also may ^[a]have children by her.” ⁴ Then she gave him Bilhah her maid ^(D)as wife, and Jacob went in to her. ⁵ And Bilhah conceived and bore Jacob a son. ⁶ Then Rachel said, “God has ^(E)judged my case; and He has also heard my voice and given me a son.” Therefore she called his name ^[b]Dan. ⁷ And Rachel’s maid Bilhah conceived again and bore Jacob a second son. ⁸ Then Rachel said, “With ^[c]great wrestlings I have wrestled with my sister, and indeed I have prevailed.” So she called his name ^[d]Naphtali.
