⁷¹ From the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh the sons of Gershon were given Golan in Bashan with its common-lands and ^[a]Ashtaroth with its common-lands.

^27 (A)Also to the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, from the other half-tribe of Manasseh, they gave ^(B)Golan in Bashan with its common-land (a city of refuge for the slayer), and Be Eshterah with its common-land: two cities;

⁸ And on the other side of the Jordan, by Jericho eastward, they assigned ^(A)Bezer in the wilderness on the plain, from the tribe of Reuben, ^(B)Ramoth in Gilead, from the tribe of Gad, and ^(C)Golan in Bashan, from the tribe of Manasseh.

¹⁰ and ^(A)all that He did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan—to Sihon king of Heshbon, and Og king of Bashan, who was at Ashtaroth.

^43 (A)Bezer in the wilderness on the plateau for the Reubenites, Ramoth in Gilead for the Gadites, and Golan in Bashan for the Manassites.
